This notice covers how WOOWEE Inc. ("WOOWEE," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and related tracking tools across woowee.ai and any AI Profile hosted on our Platform. It's here to explain, in plain terms, what gets stored on your device when you visit, why we store it, and what control you have over it.
What's actually happening when a cookie is set
A cookie is a small file your browser saves locally when you visit a site. It lets that site "remember" something about your visit the next time you come back — that you're logged in, what you clicked, or how you prefer things set up.
We draw a distinction between two kinds:
- Cookies we set ourselves ("first-party") — only WOOWEE can read these back.
- Cookies set by tools we rely on ("third-party") — set by services like our analytics or sign-in provider, and readable by them, not just us.
What we actually use cookies for
We keep this to four practical categories:
Keeping the site working. Some cookies exist purely so the Platform functions — staying signed in, keeping a session secure. There's no way to turn these off without breaking basic functionality.
Understanding how the Platform is actually used. We run Microsoft Clarity, which records things like where people click, how far they scroll, and how they move through the site. We use this to spot what's confusing or broken, not to identify individuals for marketing.
Google Sign-In. If you choose to sign in with your Google account instead of email, a cookie supports that authentication handshake.
Remembering your preferences. Small things — settings you've chosen, display options — get saved so you don't have to reset them every visit.
Beyond cookies
We occasionally use small tracking pixels (sometimes called web beacons) — tiny embedded images that tell us when a page loaded or an email was opened. These usually depend on cookies to work properly, so blocking cookies tends to disable these too.
Your control over this
Your browser is the actual control point — every major browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies through its settings. If you turn cookies off entirely, most of the Platform will still load, but some features (like staying logged in) won't work properly.
We don't currently act on "Do Not Track" browser signals, since there's no unified standard we can reliably honor across browsers.
Keeping this current
We'll update this notice whenever what we actually do with cookies changes — new tools, different providers, or legal reasons. The date at the top always reflects the last real update, so check back if you want to know what's changed.
